STORYBOARDS
Overview
In this workshop I reviewed different storyboard examples and the various camera shots and techniques that they used to evoke different feelings and tell a narrative. I then used the techniques I learnt and applied these to my own storyboards inspired by my potential game loops.

My Storyboards
Storyboard 1
My storyboards detail my first gameplay loop, which sees the player starting with an empty terrarium, and placing down their first instances of flora/fauna. Panel 3 shows the interactions between two different creatures, and the impact that has on their happiness levels. Panels 4/5 also show more of how the player can interact with the terrarium, and the interactions between other kinds of flora/fauna. Panel 6 sees that some of the creatures have bred, and that new types of flora have been produced.
Storyboard 2
The second storyboard details the warp sequence for the vehicle which serves as the players means of transportation to different areas, as well as their base of actions. I've included different angles in the captions, to help give clearer guidance on the choreography of the cutscene, such as panning from a birds-eye view, to viewing the vehicle from eye level. There is also anticipation in the form of the vehicles storing energy for warp, and effects to show how the warp has affected the environment, such as wisps being distorted in place of the vehicle.
