EASTER 1

Overview

I've finished making the item cards and begun work on the Journey cards. I've also been discussing with Max the progress of the counters. We've been going through various designs seeing which will work best for each player character. Max has also been working on the Hunter and Thief models.

Frostbitten Hand

Flavour Text: Travellers and adventurers have found a way to store charges, letting them use them in a pinch to gain more power.

Charge Counters

Me and Max have had a discussion about how the charge counters should be designed. His original designs are very complicated and a little much, and I also noted how the 3d printer might not get all that detail at such a small size, and so I've urged Max to keep his designs simpler and more readable. Looking at them all side to side, I feel there's too much similarity between the hunter's arrows, and the medic's needle. Maybe using the jewel that Max designed for the character, or using a + sign like is typically seen in depictions of hospitals, would be a better choice. I'm also not sure about the gun for the ranger, and have suggested a model of a net or rope instead.

Trading Post

Flavour Text: Ancient technology has been repurposed for everyday living. Now adventurers from all over the world can communicate and barter with one another.

Ability: Lets players trade dice, creatures and items with each other.

Flavour Text: In the depths of the forest there lays a tree said to support all life. The fruit that grows at its core grants immeasurable vitality.

Ability: Temporarily gain 3 dice of your choice. Return at the end of the turn that they have been consumed.

Journey Cards

Completion of the Journey cards is proceeding well. I have completed 2 out of 7 so far, leaving 5 more to be completed. Taking into account I want to send them off to be printed by the end of next week, I could complete 1 every just over a day and still be finished on time. However, Kat will be rejoining the team imminently, and I've pinned our card list on our slack channel so she is aware of what cards need completing. I'll be talking to her as well to organise which cards she'd like to create art for, so I can finish the rest.

Next Week

I need to complete the production of the Journey cards, so that I can send these off to be printed. Kat will be joining back to help with that. Max will continue with the design and production of the counters, as we need to see how long it will take to print all of them.
